Jack called and said Jeremy's in the hospital unconscious today at around nine plus.

I thought he was lying.
But still my dad, leroy and I went to see him.

It's true.
Damn.

Jeremy was my childhood friend. He is twenty this year.
We were close. We spent countless hours together.

During the day, we'll be playing peepeebom,slipper, blockcatching, humtumbola, soccer.

Night time, we'll be spending the time sitting downstairs at my block, talking the night away.
When it comes to midnight, we'll go eat prata, maggi mee or just grab a coke.

His favourite was tomyam maggi mee. His face used to go all red and we'll tease him.
We'll go over to lionel's, lewis, or his place to play games and just spend time talking.

He has a cute dog, i wonder how he is.

i remember night cycling with lewis, liang, robin and him.
I remember all the chalets we went to, and when they went to explore the red house, i stood outside.

I remember them breaking in to St. *** school. I stood outside and waited too. the alarm rang, and we ran like crazy.

i remember also exploring Krangi estate with them, and Choa Chu Kang cemetry,
We walked for hours and hours. He was such a noisy kid.

I remember walking with him, Jon, liang and robin from queensway shopping centre all the way to chinatown. We ended up eating KFC, and he shivered like mad.

I remember his laughter. Such an infectious laughter.

Just yesterday at 4 a.m. he left Boat Quay after drinking.
He rode his motocycle
He was drunk.
He had a pillion rider,
His girlfriend.

He was going at 120-140km/h.
He crashed into some wall.

Now the doctors can't operate on the blood clots in his head yet cause it's too swollen.
His left arm and right leg are fractured.

He can't even breathe on his own. He needs the machine.

I havent seen him for i think 4 / 5 years.
I wasn't sad at first.

But recalling all these things, made me kinda down.
Damn.

i hope he makes it.

This year was a special year. It was different.

i wouldnt have been able to go through it, if not for alll the people around me.

Alright, time to do some basic updates.

Night cycling with the CCI-ians,
Was really shiok,but ate too much though!
all my hours of cycling wasted, hah.
Someone met with an accident cause it was rainy and wet,

Self-proclaim break for myself this week.

And i suddenly miss all my close friends.

i cant wait for my 21st birthday too!

So many people came.

it was amazing.

i like her cake, we were cutting it like mad.

The kids were annoying. LOL.

BUT NO, at the fourth one, i gave up.

the best part came when majority left,

I went back to the kitchen.

Ps made me drink one whole cup of vinegar,

said it would melt the bone.

BUT NO,

it didnt.

i was like dying i tell you.

Then Lydia and valliboo came to the rescue,

Lydia was like trying to take the fishbone out, using chopsticks at first,

but it only made me feel like vomiting.

then she used tweezers, but it was tooo short , couldnt go all the way in.

Go see a doctor.

the doctor took it out very quickly, with the 3000 bucks utensil.

Yesterday i was just thinking;

and i realised the reason why there are so few stars in Singapore.
Compare the skies in Singapore to that of Australia, New Zealand or even Malaysia.

Noticed we can actually count the stars here, using less than our ten fingers sometimes?

Well, i made a conclusion,
A Steffie's Conclusion. : D

Life's pace in Singapore is too fast,
God probably knew that, and therefore planted less stars for us to look at
since we dont even have the time to do so.

How many people actually bother to take a few minutes to stare in amazement at the stars.

Busy with projects, assignments, deadlines to catch, studying for papers,
Life's just too fast.

One day perhaps,
I would like to move to New Zealand's countryside,
to tend my cows and eat my grass,

Surprisingly, it turned out great.

Boredom makes one think.

I have this sudden urge to admit,
I AM, a little weird.

When in a car, do you look down at the road markings and play a game with them?
I DO,

HOW?

It's relatively easy;
FIRSTLY, whenever the car is moving, if you realise close enough, the tires will roll over the road arrows and lines on the road.

That's when the game starts.

What you have to do is, before the start and end of every arrow or line( OR EVEN THE SHADOWS OF TREES) on the road, you have to say, Start, End, Start , End , Start, End.

It gets pretty challenging when the car's travelling at 120km/hr.

if the car is travelling at
-40km/hr = You are at Level 1
-60km/hr = You are at Level 2
-80km/hr = You are at Level 3
-100km/hr= You are at Level 4
-120km/hr= You are at Level 5

I am currently at Level 5,
If any of you or your friends or family members drive at the rate of 140km/hr,
Inform me, i want to upgrade to a level 6.

I've been skipping classes for two consecutive days.

Firstly, I'm gonna quit school. (AHHHHH)
Not gonna continue with my ever-so-potential Hospitality and Tourism Course.

It's not a rash decision.
Call me crazy, but i've been thinking about it.

I know the plus points of this course,
i know i can do well in the future,
i Know it's kinda going well for me right now,
i know this course is very Steffie.

But, I'm not happy.
And i'm not talking only about poly life.
I'm not that shallow la.
I know how the business world will be like

Complicated? Messy? Knotty? Tough? Challenging?
Not for me i guess.

Yes i recognise that i fought so hard to get into this course,
but i realise now it's not what i really want.

So, I'm letting go and starting anew.

One whole week at Zion's Youth Camp.

It was pretty amazing,
I had a whole truckload worth of FUN FUN FUN!
My group's pronouced as AH-VUN-CE-MEN-TOH!
it means advance in a native language. LOL

Everything about the camp were great.
The people were sweeet, the games were fun, and i grew closer to God.

i saw God's grace and im really thankful to him.

Wow. It's been so long.
Well. Many things happened, many events happening after one another,
i guess i'm just too lazy to write all about it.

These few days, im really down.
i dont know whether it's the haze or school,
i doubt it's the haze.

i realise something strange is really happening to me.
Everyday when i come home after a whole day of fun and laughter,
i sit down and i start to feel lousy.

It's so contradicting because i did have fun, i was really enjoying myself,
i wasn't pretending to be happy.

But once i settle down, my heart seems to start crying.
Nope, it's not because i have family problems.
i love my family.

Perhaps the reality of life keeps hitting me in the head.
Im so sick of facing pretentious and shallow people.

i caught a glimpse of what the business world is like,
and im not sure if that's where i wanna work, be all my life.
School is only 10% of what is it out there.

Im afraid. Im not strong.
Everyone keeps teeling me to be strong, to be positive,
But hey, can being positive really hide the fact that life IS sad.

Because Life is.
We can try all ways to smile and think that life is great,
tell ourselves, " it's just how you see it la "
BUT, that cannot hide the ugliness of reality can it?

Ah, what's the point of saying all these because i know i need to get back to life

That night at PS's house was somewhat horrible.
Committee meeting.

After the meeting, we went on talking about other things,
real things that were happening, and were going to happen.

Things were going to change.

Together i think we sold around 400 i think/hope.

My lips are all swollen, legs all strained.
But it was well-worth the pain.
Lunch and dinner provided were good.

Gosh, Staff welfare is GOOOD.

when i was just a little girl in Primary 5, if i remembered correctly..
i used to come up with weird poems with my track and field mates.

I wonder who watched the news yesterday.
If so, did you see an oversized man who died of some intestine problem?
He was barely married a year ago,
The news showed his happy wedding pictures.

He was my TaeKwonDoe instructor when i was just a little girl in primary school.
Oh gosh.
it was such shocking and sad news when Jiaying Msged me.
i didnt believe him.
Believe me, i was close to tears.

I remembered him, cause he was extra nice to me.
He treated me like a little girl ( i was ) and he was really caring.
Although it has been so many years already since i last saw him,
He was part of my memory.

i am going for his wake tonight.
Hopefully I wont break down and cry.
I really felt so down last night.

World cup fever.
Im finally feeling it.

PL;s singing Marathon was cool.
90 hours of singing,
and 8 of us from 4b1'05 sang 1 hr and 10 mins.

How many percentage is that?

Had fun talking singing laughing,
it was really great.
PL spirit, i guess i stillhave that.

Sigh, ok I MISS PL.

Anyways, we sang fron 2 am to 310am.
Miss Loh drove me home,
and i slept for around 3 hrs
and then Proceed to sch.

I almost cried,
i was damn it tired.

but i had BCS presentation,
and i had to be in formal wear.
After which proceeded to change to FBTs and T-shirt.

Went for the AC thingy.
we were officials of the football mania.
How cool is that.

All of them were so cute.
Taking care of them was like Babysitting my two cousins,

today set me thinking.
Hey, i miss Natalie Tang Tze Hui.
My bestfriend. Still and always will be.

Even though we haven met up for ages.
Oh Gracious, i realised how much i really miss her.
She was someone, no one could ever replace.

Sure i have many great friends around me.
and i love all of them.
i do.

But Natty;s different.
She;s another part of me.
She understood whatever i tell her and whatever i dont.
She knows how i feel, and its hard to find someone you click so well with.

You go mad with her.
You sing, dance crazy stuff.
But there are serious sides to us, That many didnt see.

Many see us as the weirdo Besties.

But we are more than that.
We do have our serious times together,
we do soul searchings,
we tell each other what we dont like abt each other,
we speak nothing but the truth,
we didnt hide anything from each other.

The friendship was just perfect.
Im so sad i haven been catching up with her.
She is a good friend.

And i know she hasnt forgotten abt me,
she just pass some sweets to shiyun to pass them to me.

Im so sorry i didnt even try harder to go meet her.
Somehow im afraid to see her again.

Oh Gosh. I finally Finally updated almost all the pics.
There are abt a hundred plus plus pics.

Well. People say Riches come in many forms and money is only one of them
After this Mt Ophir trip, I feel so so much richer now.

Im not gonna explain abt the pictures ah. Too ma fan.

DAY ONE
we set off. We were ready
Whoohoo.
Built our first tent, And we were the first!
we were good.
Cooked, ate soggy noodles.
YUM.

DAY TWO
it was the most exciting day ever.
It was the most significant day.
we reached the summit.
all 60 of us made it.
WOWWEE.

That feeling at the summit was just great.
Clouds were just passing you.
EAT THEM LIKE MASH MALLOWS!
Saw the define features of Malaysia Up there.
The buzz of excitement everyone had was simply amazing.
You cant help but feel sad when we start making our way down.

Guess what . we were supposed to reached our campsite by 6pm.
But NO.
we were only there at 12 midnight.
Imagine.
Just take a few minutes to imagine the darkness.
the complication of steps.
So many felt lost and afraid.
But i wasnt.
i had FRIENDS.

Yoyo, Jas and i held hands almost way through the night.
Quite touching la.
Jas was just in front and pulling yoyo and Yoyo pulled me.
It was like the blind leading the blind.
Literally Cause there wasnt enough light.
Gosh.
Night vision were used only.

That was one of the most exciting and thrilling night of my life.
I;ll never forget how we manged to survive.
Thank God for being there.

I tell you, Everyone was so happy so damn happy when we FINALLY MADE IT DOWN.
We Washed up at the waterfall.
Dark and everything
Cold and freezing, the water.
WOW.
ate and then slept.

DAY THREE.

Free and easy day, we made our way down to the first day campsite.
It was damn tough and tiring as usual.
i dont really know how to explain.
but pls, Go experience it yourself and fell the strain in your knees and muscles.
GOSH.

When we finally reached. I knew then,
we completed 100% of the journey.
The summit is only 50%, remember.

I felt damn good.
Felt great.

We went to the waterfalls and gosh.
Froze once again.
Shiok.
Shiok
SHIOK!

After which, we had a great night.
eating singing shouting like nobody;s business.
GO BACK JUMP GO JUMP GO GANG.
i loveeee them.

DAY FOUR

Sad,
cause everyone was leaving.
Nvm, we made a stop at Malyasia 's town.
Ate durians, and had a feast.
With the GO BACK JUMP crew.

Bought a similiar shirt.

ANYONE CAN REMEMBER?
if you were to chose between being BLIND, DEAF or DUMB, what would you choose?

blind i guess.
Firstly, i want to talk. Talking is my life.
and i will nv wanna be deaf. imagine not being able to groove to music. not being able to hear laughter. GAWD.

Anyway back to that show.That show made me realise that , hey it isnt so bad after all.After all, you get to see many things which normal people with a good eyesight can't.Maybe if i were blind i wouldn't be judgemental at all. i hate judgemental pp but, everyone is.
CAN WE EVER CHANGE THAT?
