It's the NU year.
HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR PEOPLE!
Papa just told us that he used to walk a very farrrr distance
like from er maybe Paya Lebar to Sengkang
to go visit his gonggong.
And then he would receive his one and only red packet - 50 cents.
But he told us how happy he was upon receiving that
cause he could go run to buy firecrackers.
and here we are complaining how little we received today.
'HUH!' 'ONLY 118 DOLLARS? SO LITTLE!'
Sometimes, we just have to see things in a different perspective,
i think i wouldnt mind the hard life last generation/
at least there would be more smiles.
